Arsenal progresses in the Carabao Cup with an excellent display of character and purpose, finding the back of the net twice at the Kings Power stadium.

The First half shows some promising attacking moves from both teams with Ressie Nelson intending to bend the ball toward the far corner on the Leicester City goal post forcing a save out of Ward in the 4th minute and Leicester City in the 6th minute through Iheanacho forcing a save out of Bernd Leno in a one on one situation.

Arsenal had a couple of chances in the first half one also coming via a penalty claim by Bukayo Saka in the 27th minute and James Maddison hitting the top right corner of the post on the 39th minute for Leicester City.

Play resumed and the deadlock was broken on the 57th minute as Nicolas Pepe tried to dribble and pass the ball to Eddie Nketiah in the 6-yard box but forced a save out of Ward and he hit the ball on a rebound with his left foot and the ball came off the post and hit Christian Fuchs into the back of the net for an own goal.

The second goal came in the 90th minute with Hector Bellerin dribbling past the Leicester City defenders and creating a goal-scoring chance for Eddie Nketiah who with his never-dying spirit placed the ball past Ward to give Arsenal a comfortable lead to Progress to the next round.
